1.Why there are black spots on the surface of the finished copper wire?
Answer: First find out where the black spots of the copper wire drawing are produced.
1-1) Online Annealing Machine part appear black spots during annealing. Usually, the expansion of the copper wire is too large and the loose wire will cause ignition. in this way, need check the annealing parameter whether has problem.
1-2) Wire Drawing parts has black spots are mainly caused by drawing oil.
Need change or clean the oil. Too many bacteria in the drawing oil.
1-3) There are no black spots just after the wire is produced, and black spots appear after being placed for a period of time, mainly because the surface of the copper wire is not clean or the moisture cannot be dried.
2.The conductor resistance meets the cross-sectional area requirement, but the actual calculation does not reach the square number. How do you explain this to the customer?
For example, for a conductor of 25 square milimeters, the resistance can reach the standard requirement of 25 SQMM, but the calculated cross-sectional area may be only 23 SQMM or less. The customer said that this is not qualified product.
Answer: According to local standards, judge whether it is qualified.
For example, in China, we will implement the national standard GB/T3956 Cable Conductor. For 25 SQMM conductors (category 1, category 2, category 5, category 6), there are standard requirements corresponding to the maximum resistance of conductors.
Under the premise of resistance, there are also clear requirements on the conductor size standard. Take 25 square milimeters as an example: solid non-compacted stranded soft conductor 25 square milimeters (type 1 conductor diameter between 5.2-5.7mm),
(type 2 conductor diameter 5.2- 6.6mm), (5 and 6 types of conductor diameter 5.2-7.8mm), tightly compressed stranded conductor 25 square conductor diameter (5.6-6.5mm).
3.What is the basis for each specification to meet the minimum cross-section of conductor resistance?
Answer: The minimum cross-section of each specification that meets the conductor resistance also needs to meet the minimum size requirements of the national standard ASTM.
4.When the Copper Wire Drawing Machine automatically changes the spool, the annealing effect of the first layer of winding copper wire is always not good, how to solve it?
Answer: Many factories use reduced-speed exchange ways when changing spools. If the annealing voltage(U= k) didn’t tracking speed on time, the elongation of the conductor during spool exchange will change.
This requires adjusting the annealing controller parameters of copper wire drawing machine to achieve the consistency of the elongation during spool exchange.
