Mentors latest Electrolytic Tin Plating Machine has successfully completed final testing and is now preparing for shipment. We have provided the customer with a complete set of Electrolytic Tin Plating Line, including water treatment systems and air purification units. With this full set of Tinning Line, the customer can start production immediately after receiving it. With enhanced stability, consistent tin coating quality, and improved energy efficiency, the equipment is set to support our customer’s expanding production needs.
This Electrolytic Tin Plating Machine is used to coat copper wires with a uniform layer of tin through an electrolytic process. It is suitable for bare copper wire with diameters from 1.2 mm to 2.6 mm. The coating material is tin, with a coating thickness ranging from 1 to 20 μm. The production line starts with the Coiler Pay-off, followed by electrolytic cathodic degreasing and water washing. The wire then goes through pickling (acid electrolysis), another water wash, and the electrolytic tin plating section. After plating, it enters the recovery unit, hot water washing, and hot water drying. The process ends with the Coiler Take-up and electrolytic film thickness measurement.
The Electrolytic Tin Plating Machine applies a uniform tin coating to copper wires, enhancing their corrosion resistance and solderability. During operation, the plating parameters must be kept stable, and the electrolyte should be clean and well-maintained. Operators should regularly check current, solution concentration, and wire tension to prevent uneven coating. Proper grounding, protective gear, and routine inspections are essential to ensure safe and reliable performance.
